Here are a few things that are recognized in the month of April…
Just be focused on the signs of Parkinson and Autism. Pay attention and ask questions. Autism happens mostly in boys.
Thanks Tia for your comment. Very insightful information regarding Autism…studies have shown that in the US 1 in 54 boys are diagnosed compared to 1 in 252 girls.
Knowing and being aware of the signs are very important.
Thank you for highlighting Autism in your April Awareness. On tomorrow I will be participating in one of several Autism Awareness walks being held throughout The Bahamas.
I am currently trying to learn as much as possible about the disorder and the effect it has on close relatives and caretakers involved in the day to day life of an individual with the disorder.
FYI…there will be a 1.5 mile walk held in Atlanta on Sunday, May 19, 2013 – no fee to participate, just come out and join in the fun 😃
Thanks Charlee for your comment. There are various views on the possible causes of this disorder, that’s why it is very important to become more familiar with the possible signs and ways we can contribute to the cause. Also, thanks for the walk info in Atlanta…
